Membership Dues in the Kwan Um School of Zen | Americas for 2024 are:

  • Individual Membership: $360 per year (also payable $30 per month, or $90 per quarter)

  • Family Membership: $480 per year (also payable $40 per month, or $120 per quarter)
    (includes 2 adults and 2 household family members to age 26. No limit on minor children)

  • Full-time Students or Seniors 65+ Discounted Membership: $240 per year (also payable $20 per month, or $60 per quarter)

If you are a Dharma Teacher, or Dharma Teacher-in-training, there are additional Dharma Teacher dues of $180 per year.

 

Current members can pay dues with a credit card and arrange a recurring payment, or elect to be billed quarterly by mail. New and returning members, please visit Become a Member and fill out the New and Returning Membership Sign-up form to register. To set up a recurring payment by credit card, simply select the preferred frequency from the “Charge my card” drop-down with your payment.

If you do not wish your card to be charged automatically, you may opt to be billed quarterly by paper bill (for 3 months of dues) at the start of each calendar quarter (January, April, July, October). If you have elected to be billed quarterly by email, you will receive information from the office on the email address from which your invoice will be sent, and instructions on how to pay. Please be sure your email will accept this, and pay by clicking through the invoice in order to accurately apply your payment to your invoice.

To pay an invoice received through email, please follow the directions on the invoice and “click to pay” in that email. Any other payment method will result in the invoice reporting as not paid.

Membership in the Kwan Um School of Zen | Americas is an ongoing commitment. If you would like to cancel your membership, please let us know by contacting the office at membership@kwanumzen.org or through our contact page.

 

All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Kwan Um School of Zen is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.

Refund Policy:

- Donations made by credit card are not refundable.

- Guest fees for sangha events, paid by credit card, are fully refundable up to one week before the event. After that, no refunds can be offered.

- Membership and dharma teacher dues, paid by credit card, are fully refundable for 15 days after payment. After 15 days have passed, no refunds can be offered.

- Precepts Materials, once received, are not returnable or refundable.
